The Modern Musicianship Story Continued.

After
observing countless students with the same fundamental musicianship
problems, she decided to write her books specializing in the fundamentals and
foundations of music. Mrs. Jordan taught from her studio 806. 111 West 57th Street
and resided in a two-bedroom suite around the corner from Carnegie Hall at the Salisbury Hotel on West 57th Street
for 55 years. She lived an inspiring 99 years and enjoyed the support of her devoted students in later years. Helen Hobbs Jordan maintained the fond hope
that her books would assist the musician to the excellence of understanding and performance of music.
